The Bubbie Zaidie Walk is Back

After an incredibly fun and successful launch last year, we've decided to bring back the Bubbie Zaidie Walk for '09.

Sponsored by Forest Hill Place, Pine Villa and Terrace Gardens - it's a shortened (1.5 km) version of the Walk leaving Coronation Park (with everyone else) at 10:00 am. The difference is that the Bubbie Zaidie Walk ends at our first rest stop at HTO Park (Queen's Quay just east of Spadina). There will be shuttle buses waiting there to take you to the RioCan Festival at the Direct Energy Centre - and you'll beat the crowds. So kids, call up your grandparents and tell them you want to walk with them this year!
The Bubbie Zaidie Walk - just like the rest of the Walk with Israel route - is completely wheelchair accessible.

High School students - this is just for you! New this year at the RioCan Festival after the Walk - May Madness 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament! Want to play?

Got Flat Feet?

Not a fan of walking? Why not volunteer instead? We're always looking for energetic and helpful volunteers to join us on the day of the Walk. Without volunteers, we wouldn't be able to have such a special event. On the day of the Walk, you can assist us in so many ways, from registration, to rest stops, to the RioCan Festival!
