Campaign Update
Campaign total: $61.7 Million

What's been happening in Campaign...

At the beginning of the month, we launched the 2009 Walk with Israel website and the response has been terrific. The site received a facelift and is looking better than ever. See for yourself at www.walkwithisrael.com
While you're there, why not take a moment to register and start fundraising? Just a few simple clicks and you're on your way. If you have kids in Jewish day school, encourage them to register and 'join a team'. They can search for their school and begin to collect sponsorships immediately. The winning day school (per capita) will get a pizza lunch post Walk - so there's no time to lose.

On March 1st, more than 100 members of UJA's Impact Toronto division came together for One COOL Day, chaired by Richard Goldhar, which sees volunteers roll up their sleeves at a number of community organizations including several of UJA's member agencies including Reena, and JIAS (Jewish Immigrant Aid Services) Toronto.

The day ended in a “Food and Shmooze” at The House - one of the city’s most popular and relaxing interactive places to explore Judaism as it pertains to the 21st century.  For more information about Impact Toronto programming please contact Alana Getzler.

With Passover just around the corner, you can help UJA turn unleavened bread into dough! We continue efforts to reach all outstanding donors and we need your help to perform a holiday mitzvah. Join us at our Pre-Passover Telethons for just a few hours and help us reach the generous members of our community who still wish to make a gift to UJA. In this economic climate, the vulnerable members of our community and those in Israel who need UJA the most, are those who will benefit most by each additional dollar raised. Please register for a shift today.
