There are children, like Danielle, across the GTA that need a Jewish place to call home.

Our community has opened their hearts and their homes to children who need a loving Jewish foster family, but the urgent need continues to grow. In the past six months, the number of requests for foster homes has more than doubled from the six months prior.

Jewish Family & Child needs you to find room for one more in your home.

Though we have an ongoing need for all Jewish foster parents*, we have a specific need for:

• Orthodox homes
• Russian homes (English-speaking)
• Stay-at-home parents for infants - toddlers (ages 0-3)
• Parents with skills and/or experience managing children with challenging behaviour
• Parents that can accommodate sibling groups
