One COOL Day is your hands-on opportunity to get together with other Impact Toronto (ages 25-40) volunteers to take part, have fun and perform Mitzvot all across our community!

Skate with Jewish Immigrant Aid Services (JIAS) Toronto

Centennial Skating Rink - 580 Finch Avenue West

JIAS Toronto is dedicated to helping Jewish immigrants with resettlement in the Greater Toronto Area. They help new Canadians to rebuild their lives in a vibrant, dynamic place of safety.
Make the winter a little warmer! Join and welcome children (aged 7-10) new to the Toronto Community with an afternoon of fun and skating. Bring your own skates or rent them for $5.

Join Reena's Sunday Friend's Club
Miles Nadal JCC - 750 Spadina Avenue

Sunday Friend's Club is a recreation-based program that provides the participants (ages 7-21) with an opportunity to work on both social and life skills. The program includes sports, games, arts & crafts, computers and music.

Play BINGO at the Bernard Betel Centre
1003 Steeles Ave. West (parking lot on east side of building)

The Bernard Betel Centre for Creative Living is a learning and wellness centre committed to maximizing the quality of life for seniors in the community and reflecting Jewish values.
Enjoy an afternoon of BINGO and top it all off with coffee, goodies and a chance to get to know and spend time with active seniors in our community.

Help Lawyers Feed the Hungry
Osgoode Hall Cafeteria - Queen & University
(entrance is on the back (east) entrance of the building, via a driveway between Osgoode Hall and City Hall)

Lawyers Feed the Hungry unites all members of the legal community from judges to lawyers to law students as they help feed Toronto’s homeless and needy. Help feed 250 - 350 people.  Be a server, a cook, a table cleaner or a lunch maker and put a smile on the face of someone who truly needs it.

Build and Renovate at the Toronto Wildlife Centre
60 Carl Hall Rd- Unit 4. (Sheppard and Keele)

The Toronto Wildlife Centre rescues wildlife in distress and provides medical care and rehabilitation to sick, injured and orphaned wild animals with the goal of releasing recovered patients back into the wild. They are looking for volunteers to build small mammal cages and work on other basic renovation needs for the inside of the centre.

Prepare for a Gala at the MukiBaum Treatment Centre
The House | 469 Eglinton Ave.W. # 203

MukiBaum Treatment Centre provides people who have developmental and emotional disabilities with a window of opportunity, through which they will be able to develop their talents, actualize their potential, fulfill their ability, achieve personal growth, and become contributing members of society. They are proud to be hosting their 12th Annual Possible Dreams Gala and are in need of volunteers to help assemble blank art greeting cards that will be sold to raise funds at this great event.

Zareinu is a Jewish day school and treatment centre that provides special education and individualized therapies to children with a wide range of physical and developmental challenges. Come work with Zareinu students to help build a wall unit and help paint to improve the school!

Sort Clothes at Ve’ahavta

Ve’ahavta is a Canadian humanitarian and relief organization, motivated by the Jewish value of Tzedakah (Justice), that assists the needy at home and abroad, through volunteerism, education, and acts of kindness. They need volunteers to help set up shelving and sort clothing for their outreach program, so that proper supplies can be donated to people on the street.

Join a Painting Project at Eva's Phoenix

Eva's Phoenix is a transitional housing and training facility that serves 50 at-risk youth, aged 16 to 24 years, for up to a full year. Get your creative juices flowing! Come spend the morning helping them on a painting project!

Decorate for a Gala Event at BOOST - Child Abuse Prevention & Intervention
890 Yonge St., 11th Floor

BOOST offers programs and services to more than 1000 children, youth and their families to prevent abuse or provide support when abuse or violence has occurred. Bring your creativity and help with decorations for BOOST’s Butterfly Ball, an annual gala raising money for child abuse prevention & intervention

Bowl a Strike with the Special Olympics

Special Olympics Ontario is a community organization that gives athletes the opportunity to train in order to compete and test their skills against other athletes of similar ability. Join them and help out at their Bowling Tournament!

Serve Food at Out of the Cold
139 McCaul Street (Dundas and University)

The Out of the Cold Program in downtown Toronto ensures that on any night of the week people can find shelter, a meal and a bed as an alternative to sleeping outdoors and going hungry. Help serve food, set up cots in the shelter and much more.
